This Sunday at 1pm PST: Scott Johnson comes to Tipoaa

Yes that’s right, our buddy Scott Johnson (or as we like to call him “ScoJo”) of The Instance, Hypothetical Help, the Extralife comic, and pretty much every other podcast on the Internet (sheesh that guy is busy) joins us on The Incredible Podcast of Amazing Awesomeness. We’ll chat with him about how he finds the time to do it all, how his Nerdtacular event went last month, and what he’s playing lately outside of the World of Warcraft.

And since BlizzCon ticket sales are going on this week, you’ll find out how those went for us, plus we’ll be talking about all of the wacky stuff we usually have on the docket — probably something about manliness, our favorite superheroes and TV shows, and whatever else we come up with.

Should be fun. Mark your calendars for Sunday at 1pm Pacific time (or 8pm Good Morning Turpster, or GMT), and be sure to come on over to the Ustream page to join us for the live show. You can as always email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or give us a call at 1-830-4-TURPS-4 if you want to hear your own voice on the virtual airwaves. We’ll see you then!

He probably heard Mike talking shit about him, and now he is coming for payback Mel Gibson style. I kid, looking forward to the show. I think the TIPOAA underwear would look good with some frog pants.

    Hey Mike and Turpster,
A couple of shows ago Mike made the comment that video game graphics can’t get any better than they currently are. I work in the IT field and so I’m forced to stay up to date on networking technology (as well as server power). There are two things that will propel gaming into the Gollum (Lord of the Rings) quality rendering:

    1. Computers changing over to 64 bit operating systems, which the 64 bit OS for Win 7 caps at 192 gb of RAM. Currently 32 bit computers only allow game developers a maximum of 2.5 gb to work with (after the CPU takes .5 gb). This year Dell computers officially made the switch to 64 bit systems. Dell did this because they can sell more RAM with each pc and dramatically increase their profit margin on each computer.

    2. Fiber Optic lines being offered to residential homes. Verizon has started this in California (its available in my city) and I have it at my home (20 megabytes/second downloads and uploads). The current maximum data fiber can provide is 171 GB/s (that’s gigabytes not megabytes). So the MMO gaming world will be able to handle the 64 bit computers very easily.

You both are awesome, and I always enjoy the shows you do.

In eastern Germany they sell Vita-Cola, a throwback to the GDR days. It’s a Cola + Citrus. Not quite Coke + OJ, but similar.
