Episode 28 with special guest Daniel “BigRedKitty” Howell

The Latest Episode

Oh my. At last minute and with great graciousness, our great friend BigRedKitty (from all the way back in the WoW Insider days) returns to the podcast airwaves with us. He’s been busy — he got invited into the Friends and Family Alpha for the new WoW expansion, Cataclysm, and as you might have already guessed if you know BRK and how he works, he took it upon himself to help Blizzard fix and update everything that needs updating about Hunters. Even if you’re not a WoW player, listening to this guy talk about the game with such enthusiasm and insight is really amazing. And for you non-WoW folks, we got a fun story out of him about his days in the Air Force — just make sure you’re not eating when you hear it.

Elsewhere in the ‘cast, we talk about what else we’ve been playing (who the hottest characters in Mass Effect 2 are), Scrumpy Jack (the picture above is from listener James, who traveled all the way to England to have a little Jack), and we talk about all the other crazy stuff that you guys email and send voicemails in about.

Speaking of those emails and voicemails, if you hear something you want to respond to on this show, feel free to send it to us — theshow@incrediblepodcast.com is the email address, and you can call us any time at 1-830-4-TURPS-4. Enjoy the show, huge thanks to BRK for joining us (so glad to hear him on again!), and we’ll see you next week.

Episode 27 with special guest Chris Grant

The Latest Episode

This week on the podcast we welcomed one of the Internet’s best bloggers, none other than Chris Grant, editor-in-chief of a little site called Joystiq.com. Chris can often be heard on the Joystiq podcast, but in this one, Mike tries to find out a little bit more about him, including his humble carpenting roots, his involvement in the Philadelphia and Greater New Jersey communities, and his easy guide to choosing a wine. All very entertaining — huge thanks to Chris for joining us.

We also talk about games, of course — a little bit of StarCraft 2, why Japanese developers need to cut it out with the innovation and go a little more traditional, and the appeal of co-op Lara Croft. We also recommend some good traveling tech, and come up with some new ideas for Cat Wars 3: Feline Frenzy, which we might actually be renaming Wow: CAT-aclysm. We’ll have to see about that one.

Enjoy the show. If you hear something you want to respond to, go ahead and email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or give us a call at 1-830-4-TURPS-4. We’ll be back at the usual time next week, Sundays at 1pm PST / 4 pm EST / 8pm BST. See you then!

Episode 26 Mid-Week TIPOAA Pure!

The Latest Episode

Because Mike was at a wedding last Sunday, this is the show we recorded on Thursday — it’s a Tipoaa Pure episode, which means it’s just Turpster and I, chatting about whatever we’ve been up to lately. Hopefully it’ll provide you with a laugh or two, and just ignore that weird part at the end where I tried to say something about show guests. I don’t know what I was thinking.

Otherwise, not too bad a show. Come back later today for ANOTHER episode that we recorded just yesterday, with a guest and everything! Thanks!

Episode 25 with special guest Markco of Just My Two Copper

The Latest Episode

Heyo, our podcast is back yet again — take that haters! This time we’re talking to Markco, the guy running the very popular JustMyTwoCopper.com site, as well as a host of Castaclysm and the Call to Auction podcast. He lets us into the strange world of gold making in World of Warcraft, where we check Ore prices, learn how to make a million gold, and find out whether his guide is actually worth buying (answer: it is, but only after you’ve actually made all the gold you want). And it’s not just WoW this week — we also talk about Starcraft 2 (and the shortest game ever), a couple of other games, the worst gifts we’ve ever been given, and we recommend some names for a Warcraft baby.

Oh and hey there’s a nice update on the bedtime story as well, so tune in for that if you’re interested (and you should be — it’s pretty epic). You can listen to the show above, or just hit up our page on iTunes (where we could use a review and a rating as well, if you’ve got a second!).

If you hear something on the show you want to reply to, please do drop us an email at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or give us a call at 1-830-4-TURPS-4, and you’ll probably hear it on the show next week. Enjoy, both your week and this episode.

Next week we’ll probably be a little late — Mike will be in the air on Sunday, so we’ll probably tape the show sometime later on, probably Monday or Wednesday. Either way, there will be a show, but we won’t be live in the chat channel as usual on Sunday. Keep an eye on Twitter if you want to hear where and when we’ll record next.

This Sunday on Tipoaa, Markco from Just my Two Copper

We’re back on the virtual airwaves this Sunday evening, and this time around, the honorable Markco from Just my Two Copper will join us. He runs a WoW blog about making gold in the game, so we’ll probably talk about making some virtual money and how you can do that before Cataclysm. You’ll probably also hear Mike whining about how shady the gold tips people are, and why he never trusted any of them when he wrote for WoW.com. Seriously, just like real get-rich-quick schemes, there’s a lot of shady deals out there. But Markco seems like a good guy — he’ll help separate the bad tips from the good ones.

WoW won’t be the only game we’re talking about — Turpster is still playing Starcraft 2, so we’ll probably discuss the multiplayer of that game, and Mike picked up Fat Princess and probably Mass Effect 2 this week as well, so we’ll talk those. Plus, we’ll see if Markco is into making money in all of the games that he plays, or if he isn’t full up on rupies in games like Legend of Zelda.

And as usual, we’ll answer your emails and voicemails — email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or call us at 1-830-4-TURPS-4 if you have something you want to tell, ask, or complain about to us. Thanks! We’ll see you on Sunday at 1pm PST / 4pm EST / 8pm GMT — just follow the link to Ustream over on the sidebar there.
